This poem reflects me because i believe it talks about a little kid’s childhood. A kid’s childhood involve in believing fairy tales, such as unicorns, getting hurt, especially on the knees, and also having fun, like climbing trees. This all involves having a great summer during a person’s childhood. This poem reminds me of my childhood because I would always believe in fairy tales, such as Santa Clause, magic, and fairy tale creatures. Also, I would somehow skin my knees or elbows by riding bikes, scooters, or other fun things to do during a person’s childhood. I usually would not climb many trees because i was too scared and thought I might fall. I was scared because I climbed a tree when I was really young and I think my sister was with me and fell off. Now a days, people our age, don’t believe in fairy tales, hurt themselves as much, or climb trees. All of these things involve a kid’s childhood because when you are young you want to have fun and live your life the best it can be. I know that I loved to play with my sister, especially outside, and would somehow hurt myself. Also, I loved believing in fairy tale things such as unicorns, magic, and Santa Clause, because it would always make me feel happy and excited inside. Finally, being young, even in the summertime, is a great thing because a child likes to live their life the fullest it can be not matter what.

Fluoride is an element that prevents tooth decay. It is also the ionic form of fluorine. Fluoride in drinking water can sometimes become a problem to people. Also, some people disapprove of adding fluoride to drinking water because it involves mottled teeth which is from decay. The fluoride in the drinking water make people’s teeth stain, and fluoride can also be a poison. This poison is not good to eat or use too much on a person’s teeth. For example in one case, it took three decades for one person to get the stain out of their teeth. Fortunately, the good thing about fluoride decay is that it reduces the amount of bacteria and also helps reduce the areas where acid attack has begun. My position on adding fluoride to drinking water is good because it gets rid of all of the bacteria in a person’s teeth and also helps keep a person’s teeth clean. An administration that has prevented tooth decay is called the Food and Drug Administration. This administration helps with acid attacks and problems with fluoride, toothpaste, and mouthwash. Side effects of using fluoride in drinking water concerns me the most because of the stain on a person’s teeth and also poison in someone’s body. Many studies have found that fluoride could have numerous harmful side effects such as cancer, thyroid problems, and other harmful things. In 1936, the Dental Hygiene Unit determined that fluoride levels up to 1.0 ppm in drinking water. http://www.fluorideinfo.org/ They fixed this by not putting as much fluoride in water. This helps because the more fluoride in the water, the more stain on people’s teeth. Since Fluoride is a compound, FDA had to make sure that people were not using a strong use of toothpaste, mouthwash, and other things with fluoride in it. They also had to reduce the amount of fluoride in toothpaste, mouthwash, and other things with fluoride. To me, adding fluoride to drinking water has some positive and negative side effects. It can be positive because it reduces the amount of cavities and tooth decay, but on the other hand, fluoride can be a negative thing because it can cause the stain of teeth and other dangerous problems. These are two issues that allow people be aware of what fluoride is in and how much they are using of it. Adding fluoride to drinking water definitely has some wonderful benefits but Americans must be aware of the dangerous problems that also can occur to one’s overall health.
